On June 15,  Kemet Corp.  announced the completion of its $1.6 billion acquisition by  Yageo Corp.  of Taiwan. According to the terms of the deal, Yageo has purchased all of Kemet's outstanding shares of common stock in an all-cash transaction for US $27.20 per share.
