The Semtech Corporation SX150 series I/O Expanders are low-voltage 16-bit general-purpose input/output (GPIO) expanders with interrupt and reset functions. They are designed to provide general-purpose remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the I2C interface. The SX150x family of devices provides pin selectable address and four levels of hardware address lock-down for flexibility in addressing.
