Description

The Microchip Technology MCP1631RD-MCC2, MCP1631RD-MCC2, and MCP1631HV Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger Reference Design are power management ICs designed to provide a complete solution for charging batteries of various chemistries. The ICs feature a wide input voltage range, high efficiency, and low quiescent current. They are capable of charging Li-Ion, Li-Polymer, NiMH, NiCd, and Lead Acid batteries. The ICs also feature a programmable charge current, temperature monitoring, and over-voltage protection.
