The UCC28085 series AC to DC Converter ICs are high voltage converter ICs that are intended to reliably and efficiently convert AC voltage to DC voltage. The UCC28085 is an 8-pin current mode push-pull PWM controller with programmable slope compensation. It offers everything needed to build a rugged and low-cost power supply, including soft-start, frequency jittering, short-circuit protection, skip-cycle, a maximum peak current setpoint, and a Dynamic Self-Supply (no external bias components).
