The ADM3101 series is a family of RS-232 interface ICs that operate from a single 3.3 V or 5 V power supply. The devices are fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-232-F standard and operate at data rates up to 1 Mbps. The ADM3101E is a half-duplex transceiver that meets the requirements of the RS-232 and V.28 standards. It has a low-power shutdown mode that reduces power consumption to less than 1 μA.
