What are the differences between the types of STMicroelectronics STripFET™ II series Transistors - FETs, MOSFETs - Single?

FETs: Field-Effect Transistors are unipolar devices, meaning they only have one type of charge carrier. They are used for switching and amplifying signals. FETs are voltage-controlled devices, meaning that the current flowing through them is controlled by the voltage applied to the gate. MOSFETs: Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors are also unipolar devices, but they are more efficient than FETs. MOSFETs are also voltage-controlled devices, but they have a higher input impedance than FETs, meaning they can handle higher voltages. Single: Single transistors are single-channel devices, meaning they only have one gate and one drain. They are used for simple switching applications, such as turning on and off a light. Single transistors are not as efficient as FETs or MOSFETs, but they are much simpler and cheaper.
