The Texas Instruments OMAP-L1x series of microprocessors are a family of low-power, high-performance, embedded processors designed for a wide range of applications. The OMAP-L1x series is based on the ARM Cortex-A8 processor core and is optimized for low power consumption and high performance. The OMAP-L1x series features a wide range of peripherals, including USB, Ethernet, CAN, and UART, as well as a variety of multimedia and graphics accelerators. The OMAP-L1x series is ideal for applications such as industrial automation, medical devices, automotive infotainment, and consumer electronics.

The OMAP-L1x series includes the OMAP-L138, OMAP-L137, OMAP-L132, and OMAP-L131.  The main differences between the OMAP-L1x series microprocessors are their clock speeds, memory, and peripheral support. The OMAP-L138 has the highest clock speed of up to 300 MHz, while the OMAP-L137 and OMAP-L132 have clock speeds of up to 200 MHz and 150 MHz, respectively. The OMAP-L131 has the lowest clock speed of up to 100 MHz.  The OMAP-L138 has the most memory, with up to 256 KB of on-chip SRAM and up to 32 MB of external SDRAM. The OMAP-L137 and OMAP-L132 have up to 128 KB of on-chip SRAM and up to 16 MB of external SDRAM. The OMAP-L131 has the least memory, with up to 64 KB of on-chip SRAM and up to 8 MB of external SDRAM.
