Microchip Technology AVR® XMEGA® E5 series Microcontrollers are a family of low-power, high-performance 8-bit microcontrollers based on the AVR® XMEGA® architecture. The XMEGA® E5 series offers a wide range of features, including up to 256KB of Flash memory, up to 32KB of SRAM, up to 8KB of EEPROM, up to four 16-bit timer/counters, up to four USARTs, up to two SPI/TWI/I2C interfaces, up to two 12-bit ADC, up to two 12-bit DAC, up to two analog comparators, up to two PWM channels, and up to two 32-bit real-time counters. The XMEGA® E5 series also offers a wide range of peripherals, including a full-speed USB 2.0 interface, an AES encryption engine, a CRC engine, and a temperature sensor. The XMEGA® E5 series is ideal for a wide range of applications, including industrial, automotive, consumer, and medical.
