The FSUSB42 is a bi-directional, low-power, two-port, Hi-Speed, USB2.0 switch manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is optimized for switching between two Hi-Speed (480Mbps) sources or a Hi-Speed and Full-Speed (12Mbps) source. The switch is configured as a double-pole, double-throw switch (DPDT).
The FSUSB42 series is designed to operate with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 4.5V. It has a low on-state resistance of 4.5Ω (typical) and an off-state leakage current of 1nA (maximum). The device has a low power consumption of 0.5μA (maximum) in the off-state and 1μA (maximum) in the on-state.
The FSUSB42 series is available in a variety of packages including UMLP-6, UDFN-6, and WDFN-6. The device is RoHS compliant and meets the requirements of the European Union’s Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of hazardous substances in electronic equipment.
