How a CPU is made? [HD Graphics]07 January 2026
Hello everyone, I am Rose. Welcome back to the new post today. The CPU, sometimes known as a "microprocessor," is the heart of modern computers. The specs and frequencies of the CPU are frequently regarded as crucial indicators of a computer's performance in PCs.
What are the Applications of Filters?17 January 2026
Filtering is a basic and important technique in signal processing. Using filtering techniques, the desired signal can be extracted from various signals and unwanted interference signals can be filtered out. A filter is an important component in the frequency domain analysis of a signal.
Working Principle and Types of Electric Fuse20 March 2026
An electric fuse is a current interrupting device that protects the electrical circuit, in which it is located by generating an open circuit in response to excessive current. This article mainly discusses the structure, working principle, materials, types, and pros and cons of electric fuse.
Introduction to the Types of Monitor Cables01 April 2024
At present, the common PC monitor cables mainly include HDMI cable, DP cable, DVI cable, and VGA cable. Monitor cable performance ranking: DP>HDMI>DVI>VGA. VGA is an analog signal. DVI, HDMI, DP are digital signals, which are the current mainstream.
DIP Switch: Introduction and Classification20 January 2021
DIP switch is an address switch used for operation control, using the principle of 0/1 binary coding. It is a miniature switch that can be toggled by hand. Dip switches are widely used in data processing, communication, remote control and anti-theft automatic alarm systems and other products that require manual programming.
How do Inductors Work?27 October 2025
Inductors are energy storage elements that convert electrical energy into magnetic energy for storage. It is similar to a transformer, but the inductor has only one winding. The structure of an inductor is generally composed of a skeleton, a winding, a shield, the packaging material, an iron core, and a magnetic core.
Introduction to EPROM and EEPROM08 January 2026
EPROM (Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) is a kind of ROM memory with erasable function and can be reprogrammed after erasing. Before writing, the contents inside must be irradiated with ultraviolet rays on the transparent window on its IC card to clear it. EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory), a memory chip that does not lose data after power failure. EEPROM can erase the existing information and reprogram it on the computer or special equipment.
Inductor Basics: Structure, Parameters, and Measurement24 October 2025
Inductors are components that can convert electrical energy into magnetic energy and store it. An inductor generally consists of a skeleton, a winding, a magnetic core, an iron core, a shielding case, and a package. Commonly used inductors are adjustable inductors and choke inductors. In the circuit, the inductor prevents the AC and allows DC to pass through.
Capacitor Basic: How do Capacitors Work?18 April 2025
This comprehensive guide explores the fundamental principles of capacitors, explaining how they store electrical energy by accumulating charges on metal plates separated by dielectric materials. The article details the charging and discharging processes of capacitors, alongside a thorough explanation of capacitance units and practical size considerations that affect their energy storage capabilities. Additionally, it outlines twelve key applications of capacitors in electronic circuits, including filtering, coupling, tuning, and motor operation, demonstrating their essential role in modern electronics.
What is FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit)?26 December 2025
Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) is a highly reliable and excellent flexible printed circuit board made of polyimide or polyester film. It has the characteristics of high wiring density, lightweight, thin thickness, and good bendability.
What is a Projector?14 October 2021
Hi, fellas. I am Rose. Welcome to the new post today. A projector is an electronic device that can display images or videos on a screen. Through various interfaces, it may be connected to PCs, VCDs, DVDs, BDs, gaming consoles, DVs, and other devices to play video signals. This article introduces the basis of projectors.
What are Laser Diodes?20 October 2025
Laser diodes include single heterojunction (SH), double heterojunction (DH), and quantum well (QW) laser diodes. The quantum well laser diode has the advantages of low threshold current and high output power, which is the mainstream product in the market. Compared with optical maser, laser diodes have the advantages of high efficiency, small size, and long life, but their output power is small (generally less than 2mW), linearity and monochromaticity are poor, limiting their applications in cable television systems for not able to transmit multi-channel, high-performance analog signals. In the feedback module of the bidirectional optical receiver, the uplink transmission generally uses a quantum well laser diode as a light source.
