Introduction to Reluctance Motor08 March 2021
This is a kind of advanced motor that, like a regular electric motor, has both a stator and a rotor. This motors use a direct spinning magnetic field (RPM) to synchronize the rotor's speed with the stator's RMF. These motors offer a high power density at a low cost, making them appealing in a variety of applications. The reluctance motor's operating theory is that if a magnetic material is placed inside a magnetic field, it often pulls itself into line in the least reluctance manner.
What are Comparators?03 December 2020
Comparing two or more data items to determine whether they are equal, or determining the size relationship and arrangement order between them is called comparison. A circuit or device that can realize this comparison function is called a comparator.
Solar Inverter: Definition, Types and Costs01 February 2021
The solar inverter's main function is to transform or "invert" the solar energy produced by your solar panels from DC to AC so that it can be used by your home and utility grid.
What is a Motherboard Chipset? A Guide to 2026 Architecture13 March 2026
The chipset is a set of integrated circuit "chips" and is sold as a product. It is responsible for connecting the core microprocessor of the computer and other parts of the machine.
What is a Motor Starter?26 December 2025
A motor starter is an electrical system used to safely start and stop a motor. Like a relay, the motor starter turns power on/off, which offers low voltage and overcurrent safety, as opposed to a relay.
Can ARM challenge X86 in the field of PC chips?06 June 2022
More than twenty years ago, Microsoft's Windows operating system and Intel's X86 chip swept the entire computer market, until they met Apple. apple's rise to prominence made the once unbreakable Wintel camp crack, "Windows + X86" is no longer the only option. You can also choose "macOS + X86". And in 2020, the release of the M1 chip will also pull the ARM architecture into the battle, X86 ushered in a new competitor.
Development Board History and Differences from Single Board Computers (SBCs)16 May 2022
Hello everyone, I am Rose. Welcome to the new post today. In this article, we'll explain what the term "development board" (Figure 1) means and show how they differ from the closely related single-board computer (SBC, or single-board computer). We also map their evolution from the past to the present and discuss some trends in how they will evolve in the future.
Chip Packaging Lead Time Has Grown to 50 Weeks07 April 2022
British chip design firm Sondrel warned of problems in chip packaging, revealing that package lead times had increased from about 8 weeks previously to 50 weeks or more.
EMC can also observe the waveform with an oscilloscope?04 March 2022
What's the difference between EMC's near field and distant field? Let's talk about it together today! EMC, also known as electromagnetic compatibility, is a complete assessment of an electronic product's electromagnetic field interference (EMI) and anti-interference capabilities (EMS), and is one of the most important indicators of product quality.
Why Meta Did Not Choose Qualcomm AI Chip?02 April 2022
On April 1, it was reported that Qualcomm is the world's largest supplier of smartphone processors and is well-established in terms of computing power and energy efficiency of its chips. 2019 Qualcomm announced that it will enter the fast-growing market of data center AI chips based on its technology and experience in smartphone chips.
What is a Transmitter?12 October 2021
In industrial process control, measurement and transmission unit, actuator, and regulator are the three major components of the entire control system. Among them, the measurement and transmission unit is the transmitter, and sometimes the transmitter is actually equivalent to the sensor. The actuator is like a valve, and the regulator is the controller, which is the brain of the entire control system.
How Does the A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Work27 February 2023
The A4988 stepper motor driver is a crucial component in controlling the motion of stepper motors. By controlling the current that drives the motor coils, it enables precise and controlled movement. Its simple interface and easy integration make it a popular choice for a wide range of applications, from 3D printers to robotics.
