The Analog Devices EVAL-ADM1177EBZ Evaluation Kit is designed to evaluate the performance of the ADM1177 Hot-Swap Controller for Central Office Switch, Computers and Peripherals. This evaluation kit includes a fully assembled and tested ADM1177 evaluation board, a USB-to-I2C interface board, and a software package for Windows and Linux. The ADM1177 is a hot-swap controller that provides protection and control for hot-swappable devices. It features over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection, as well as a programmable current limit and adjustable soft-start. The ADM1177 also provides a power-good signal and a fault signal to indicate when a fault has occurred. The evaluation board also includes a power supply, a power switch, and a set of LEDs to indicate the status of the board. The USB-to-I2C interface board allows the user to control the ADM1177 from a PC. The software package includes a GUI for configuring the ADM1177 and a library of example code for controlling the board.
