The Analog Devices EVAL-ADM1178EBZ Evaluation Kit is designed to evaluate the performance of the ADM1178 Hot-Swap Controller for Central Office Switch, Computers and Peripherals. This kit includes a fully assembled and tested evaluation board, a USB cable, and a CD containing the user guide, software, and other documentation. The ADM1178 is a hot-swap controller that provides protection against over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature conditions. It also provides a low-power, low-cost solution for hot-swapping of peripheral devices. The evaluation board includes a USB interface for easy connection to a PC, and a variety of test points for monitoring and controlling the ADM1178. The kit also includes a graphical user interface (GUI) for easy configuration and monitoring of the ADM1178.
