The Maxim Integrated MAX31855PMB1-PMB1#, MAX31855PMB1#, Peripheral Module for the MAX31855 Cold-Junction Compensated Thermocouple-to-Digital Converter is a high-performance, automotive-grade solution for measuring temperature in automotive and transportation applications. This module is designed to provide accurate temperature readings from thermocouples, and features a cold-junction compensation circuit that eliminates the need for a separate cold-junction reference. The module also includes a 16-bit ADC, a temperature-to-digital converter, and a digital filter for noise reduction.
