The Silicon Labs SI3452MS8-KIT is an 8-port evaluation kit for the Si3452MS8 Power over Ethernet (PoE) Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), Security and Automation IC. This kit provides a comprehensive platform for evaluating the Si3452MS8 IC, which is designed to enable secure, automated, and reliable power delivery over Ethernet networks. The kit includes an 8-port PoE PSE board, a power supply, and a USB-to-UART bridge for easy connection to a PC. The board is designed to support up to 8 ports of IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE PSE, and features an integrated security engine for secure authentication and encryption of PoE traffic. The kit also includes a comprehensive set of software tools for configuring and monitoring the Si3452MS8 IC, as well as a library of reference designs for rapid prototyping.
