N-Channel 0.5mm PMIC TPS2559 10 Pin 5V 10-VFDFN Exposed Pad
The TPS2559DRCR power-distribution switch is utilized in applications which call for a low-resistance, precision current limit switch or heavy capacitive loads. The following article will introduce its features, pinout, and other details.

TPS2559 TI, current switch for circuit protection
TPS2559DRCR Description
The TPS2559DRCR power-distribution switch is designed for situations that demand a low-resistance precision current limit switch or strong capacitive loads. With a precise current limit set by a single resistor to ground, the TPS2559DRCR can give up to 5.5 A of steady load current. When the output load exceeds the current-limit threshold, the output current is maintained at a safe level by switching to a constant-current mode. The output current is limited to the level defined by R during overload events (ILIM). If a persistent overload occurs, the device enters thermal cutoff mode to preserve the TPS2559DRCR from damage.
The rise and fall timings of the power switch are regulated to reduce current surges when the switch is turned on or off. During over-current or short-circuit conditions, the FAULT logic output tests low.
