TM1618 Description

The TM1618 LED Controller has a duty factor of 1/5 to 1/8. To build a highly reliable peripheral device for a single chip microcomputer, 8 segment output lines, 4 grid output lines, 3 segment/grid output lines, one display memory, control circuit, and key scan circuit are all incorporated into a single chip. A three-line serial interface is used to feed serial data to the TM1618. The TM1618 pin assignments and application circuit are optimized for easy PCB Layout and cost savings. It is housed in an 18-pin DIP.
