Based on the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC processor, which can operate at frequencies up to 216 MHz, are the STM32F722xx and STM32F723xx devices.

STM32F722RET6 Description

Based on the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC processor, which can operate at frequencies up to 216 MHz, are the STM32F722xx and STM32F723xx devices. With its single floating point unit (SFPU) precision, the Cortex®-M7 core can handle data formats and instructions for Arm® single-precision data processing. In order to improve application security, it additionally implements a memory protection unit (MPU) and the entire set of DSP commands.

High-speed embedded memories are included in the STM32F722xx and STM32F723xx devices. These include Flash memory up to 512 Kbytes, 256 Kbytes of SRAM (including 64 Kbytes of data TCM RAM for important real-time data), 16 Kbytes of instruction TCM RAM (for important real-time routines), and 4 Kbytes of backup SRAM that is accessible in low-power modes. A wide range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals are connected to two APB buses, two AHB buses, a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix, and a multilayer AXI interconnect that supports access to internal and external memories.
