74HC244D Description

An 8-bit buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs is the 74HC244; 74HCT244. One 8-bit buffer or two 4-bit buffers can be used with the device. Two output enables (1OE and 2OE) on the device each control four 3-state outputs. The outputs enter a high-impedance OFF-state when nOE is HIGH. Clamp diodes in the inputs allow current limiting resistors to be used to interface inputs to voltages higher than VCC.
