However, what if you need to do the opposite? What if you need your Arduino to speak the language of analog signals? Enter the MCP4725 Digital-toAnalog Converter Breakout.
How do I use MCP4725 Adafruit module?
This breakout board features the easy-to-use MCP4725 12-bit DAC. Control it via I2C and send it the value you want it to output, and the VOUT pin will have it. It is great for audio / analog projects, such as when you can't use PWM but need a sine wave or adjustable bias point.
Where can I find MCP4725 I2C address?
This is a 12 bit DAC converter. What this means is that it will accept up to 4096 possible inputs to provide an analog output, where an output value of zero is zero and an output value of 4095 is full scale. Full scale is determined by the reference voltage you supply to the VCC pin. The supply voltage can be anywhere from 2.7 volts to 5.5 volts.
