CR1225 Battery Equivalent

CR1220, BR1225, CR2032

CR1220 Batteries VS CR1225 Batteries

The CR1220 and CR1225 batteries are quite similar.

The size difference is the most significant:

CR1220 batteries have 12.5 x 2.0 mm physical dimensions, a smaller capacity (35-40 mAh), and lower drain currents.

CR1225 batteries have 12.5 x 2.5 physical dimensions, a higher capacity (50 mAh), and somewhat higher discharge currents.

In summary, although CR1225 batteries can be used in CR1220 battery compartments, do not replace your CR1225 battery with a CR1220 battery owing to contact concerns (0.5 mm may not seem like a significant gap, but...) and poor performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What battery can replace CR1225?

Energizer CR2032 is a safe replacement for CR1225 batteries. If you need affordable CR1225 look-alike batteries, then Duracell's 2025 battery is the perfect choice for you. The 3-volt battery can be used for almost every device, making it the perfect battery that should be picked thanks to its universal use.

Is a 1220 battery the same as 1225?

Do you? In most cases, they should be interchangeable. 1220 won't last quite as long, but both are 3-volt batteries, and as long as the springy contacts of your device make firm contact with the battery either will work.

What are CR1225 batteries used for?

CR1225 Lithiums in particular are commonly used in the following applications: Watches, Pagers, Calculators, PDA Organizers (electronic agendas), lights, and other electronic devices.

What voltage is a CR1225 battery?

3.0 V

What is the difference between BR1225 and CR1225?

There is an important difference between the BR1225 and CR1225. The BR1225 is designed for very low drain applications and will not supply the current needed for the backlight and beeper in VICKS fever thermometers.
