Overview of OPA2134

The OPA2134  is a low-noise, ultra-low-distortion operational amplifier designed specifically for audio applications. To deliver improved sound quality and speed for exceptional audio performance, a real FET input stage is included. This, combined with the high output drive capabilities and good DC  performance, makes it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications. The OPA134  also has a wide output swing, within 1 V  of the rails, which allows for more headroom and makes it perfect for use in any audio circuit.

In conventional configurations, single and dual versions are offered in 8-pin DIP  and SO-8 surface-mount packages. In 14-pin DIP  and SO-14 surface-mount packaging, the quad is offered. All are rated for temperatures ranging from –40°C to 85°C. A SPICE macro model is available for design analysis.

Overview of NE5532

The NE5532  series of operational amplifiers are high-performance devices with good DC  and AC  characteristics. Low noise, high output drive capability, high unity-gain, and maximum-output-swing bandwidths, low distortion, high slew rateinput-protection diodes, and output short-circuit protection are all features. Internally, these operational amplifiers are calibrated to operate at unity gain. Maximum equivalent input noise voltage restrictions have been set for these devices.

Conclusion of OPA2134 VS NE5532

The OPA2134  is a Fet Input op-amp, while the NE5532  is a Bipolar Input op-amp.

Although many people dismiss the NE5532  as an obsolete component and try to locate a replacement, the NE5532  is still adequate for most applications. Because anything better is overkill and not cost-effective, a lot of new audio equipment still uses ancient op-amps like the NE5532  and TL072.

The NE5532  is usually a better choice than a JFET OPA2132  / OPA2134  if you can utilize a bipolar OP. When a FET type is required, the OPA2134  is a better alternative than the TL072,  It's possible that this is the case with low-frequency filters.  The OPAx132  family is the slightly better version for DC  critical applications.
