MPU9255 is a multi-chip module (MCM) consisting of two dies integrated into a single QFN package. One die houses the 3-Axis gyroscope and the 3-Axis accelerometer. With its dedicated I2C sensor bus, the MPU-9255 directly provides complete 9-axis MotionFusion™ output.

The INT pin should be connected to a GPIO pin on the system processor that is capable of waking the system processor from suspend mode.


MPU9255 vs. MPU9250

The only difference was that the WHO_AM_I register returns 0x73. Existing libraries for the MPU9250 seem to work the same on the MPU9255. Example code may need to be updated to expect a different WHO_AM_I response.
